ENTRY TO TROP JR 2010 HAS CLOSED!

2011 Entry Guidelines (PDF) and information will be available mid year.

Trop Jr is not just about ‘showing’ films—it’s about ‘making’ them!

Anyone can enter the festival regardless of background or level of filmmaking experience. There are only a few small guidelines you must follow when making your film:

Your film must be made specifically for Trop Jr 2011  
Trop Jr 2011 must be your film's first public screening  
Your film must be no longer than seven minutes
Your film must be suitable for children 15 years and younger
The filmmaker, and each participant in a group entry other than the nominated parent or legal guardian must be 15 years or younger on Thursday 6 January 2011.
Your film must contain the Trop Jr Signature Item (TSI) – which is ‘FAN’ for 2011. The TSI can be interpreted any way you choose – be creative!
